A Lil' Haul

I've been trying to restrain myself on my spending, and these are mainly my purchases from when I went overseas in the holidays (plus a few local buys). It's so hard to NOT buy anything at all when places like Priceline are having insane sales - like 50% Maybelline hello!

Revlon Lip Butter in Juicy Papaya
I got so excited when I saw the new shades of the Revlon Lip Butters as they aren't available yet in Australia. The only colour that appealed to me was Juicy Papaya which is a pink-peachy shade that really isn't anything special but I think a majority of us are guilty already of owning too many lip products that are practically the same shade ;)

Topshop Blush in Afternoon Tea
I absolutely love the packaging of Topshop makeup; this blush looks like a cookie!!!
We don't have Topshop in my state so I felt compelled to buy at least one product from Topshop. I was kinda shocked at how pricey the makeup (and clothes) were though.
This cream blush has a powder finish so I think I'll get a lot of use out of it.

Maybelline Metal Color Tattoo in Barely Branded
This, I got locally. The 'metal' color tattoos are so much creamier than the original (which I wasn't very impressed with). This champagne colour is gorgeous too so I've been really enjoying this.

Maybelline Watershine Pure lipstick in B24
Wow what an interesting shade name -.- This was a gift and it's just a everyday, glossy pink which I already have too many of but oh well. #makeupaddictproblems

I'm sure many of you heard of the amazing 50% Maybelline sale at Priceline. Of course, I had to pick up something but I made sure to restrain myself.

I picked up the baby lips in Relieving Menthol because it was a flavour that I hadn't tried yet. And the sale made these only $2!

I got the greatly raved about Instant Age Rewind Concealer in Light.
Unfortunately, I got a defective one so when I twist it, no product actually comes out. I'm an extremely lazy person so instead of exchanging it, I've just been taking the whole top part off and using it as a foundation (lol).

It has great coverage and matches my skin tone so it's actually been working good as a foundation :D

My skin has been in major breakout mode (especially when I go overseas to hotter climates). I was desperate for a clay mask to dry those nasty zits up so I picked up the Himalaya Herbals Purifying Mud Pack because it was super cheap.

This really does smell like clay. It does the job of drying some pimples up but it doesn't really get rid of them. I'm interested in getting the Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask because I've heard that works wonders.

I would love to hear your recommendations on good mud/clay masks for pimples :)

That's my short lil' haul for this month.

Thank ya'll for reading as always.

xoxo,
Sheri

  2. A lovely haul. Aren't we all guilty of trying to restrain ourselves from buying but it's so hard with such great deals going on! I haven't heard of that line of Maybelline lipstick. Looks like a really nice colour though. My Age Rewind concealer stopped twisting halfway through use so I scrapped out the product into a jar to use lol. Sorry I can't recommend any masks as I only use my 10.0.6 one like once a month.

    1. It's not too dry, but it's not that moisturising either. It has a semi-matte powdery finish :) If you use too much of it, I think it could crease but I haven't experienced that!

  7. Great haul! I love that lip butter shade you got!
It's a pity your concealer was faulty. The lid of my concealer is so cracked and the packaging is "splitting" which is so weird.

  10. Sorry to hear that you got a defective Age Rewind concealer but glad to hear that you made it work for you anyway! :) Will you be writing a review? I want to get one but I'm not sure if I should invest in a MAC Pro Long Wear instead.
