November Favourites!

Let's begin the countdown till Christmas and the end of 2013!
I still can't wrap my head around how fast time flies and my mind is just blown every time I think about it. I'm really happy I've managed to stick with this blog for over a year now! :)

Anyways, here are some products I've been loving in November.

Firstly I've been loving the Sukin Foaming Facial Cleanser that I've featured before and reviewed here
I love how gentle this is on my sensitive skin and how it's made of a lot of natural ingredients. It has a soothing, herbally scent that I like. It doesn't really "foam" up that much like its name suggests but it still cleanses well without making my skin feel dry.

Next, is a decent drugstore powder that I've been testing out - the Milani face powder .

It has a gorgeous design on it (which has now been annihilated by my brush). The powder is smooth and matte. I like how it keeps my face matte and shine-free for awhile but I definitely still prefer my Australis Fresh and Flawless powder because that one is finer.

The blush of the month has been my NYX powder blush in Peach .

This is my first time trying NYX blushes and they definitely live up to the hype. It's so smooth, so pigmented (but not overly pigmented) and the colour Peach is really nice and can suit a lot of skintones. I love the quilted design in it too.

I have another NYX product to feature and it is the NYX natural eyeshadow palette.

I prefer matte shades over shimmer so of course I would love this palette that has 4 matte shades out of the 6. The colours are very wearable and neutral (duh) and decently pigmented.

It's no secret that I am a lip product junkie so I have several to show.

In terms of moisturisation, I've been using the Maybelline Baby Lips in Quenched that I got from a recent American swap. It's just a clear lip balm but I like  the scent and it is very moisturising.

I also love the amazing pigmentation of the Rimmel Apocalips and I have the shade Celestial. I find that the intense colour pay-off can be a bit hard to work with so I just dab two dots on my lips and blend it out for a natural, pink lip.

On top, I've either been using the Burts' Bees lip gloss in Ocean Sunrise (review here) that gives a lovely, pearly shine to any lip colour or the L'oreal Shine Caresse lipstain in Rose On and On. This is my go-to if I want to increase the staying power of a lipstick. I pop this on and it makes whatever I'm wearing underneath matte and longer-lasting.

So those are my favourites for November!

Thanks for reading.

xoxo,

Sheri

  2. Very nice faves. I do that with my Apocalips too when I don't want an 'in your face' lip.

  3. Great monthly favourites! I can't believe it's already December (where has this year gone, haha). I've been using the Sukin Sensitive Cleansing Gel recently and it has done pretty well. Does the Foaming Facial Cleanser have a strong fragrance to it also? Sometimes it's a little overbearing for me. x

    1. I don't think it's too strong, it's very pleasant and "natural" smelling :)

  7. That face powder is super pretty :) They've brought out the new shade of Peach in Aus, the one I bought from US is definitely not the same! So weird but this one looks pretty too!
