BEATING DRY SKIN
Sometimes I wonder... am I a human, or am I of a webbed, scaly species? Because my upper body resembles a homo sapien, while my legs get soo scaly and dry that I'm busting out the creams every few hours. OMG I'M A MERMAID! *revelation* Anyways, it turns out that amphibians are actually smoother and more moist compared to reptiles. Cue MISSION: BECOME LIKE THE AMPHIBIANS.
You would think that in Summer, my skin would be less dry but noooo. The dry air, and the heat is exceptional at sucking all the moisture out of my skin. For the face, the Olay Complete Moisture Lotion SPF 15 for Sensitive Skin has been a lifesaver in preventing my face from looking like cornflakes glued together (A+ simile there).
I don't actually moisturize my body (it's secrets are forever hidden by clothing) but my legs are a must. They have this incredible superpower of transforming into spider webs (best superpower ever). I slather on the Arbonne Intelligence Rejuvenating Cream* and no worries. My skin is as soft and smooth as a marshmallow...baby.
The evenings are reserved for some alone time - with me, myself and hand cream. Seriously, the hands are a whole other ball game. I've got to get them all lovely and prepped for le future partner so he isn't totally repulsed by my witch claws. I'm still completely hooked on the Baylis & Harding Lemon Blossom & White Rose Hand Lotion*. If you still don't love me after feeling my hands, then you will after sniffing the amaaazing scent.
Lip balm and I are one entity. I guess we're involved in some sort of parasitic relationship where I leech off the lip balm and it just depletes and ends up feeling empty inside (LITERALLY, har har har). When my lips are in need of serious TLC, I usually reach for the Korres Lip Butter in Jasmine.
Sheri vs Dry Skin. ONE-NIL.
