Confession: I'm a major lip balm junkie. (You may or may not already know this.)
If I forget to bring one with me, I actually panic. My lips feel dry and gross and naked. I must ALWAYS have one with me so I can reapply like every half an hour. (Who's with me?)
I was super excited to try out a lip balm produced by a fellow Aussie blogger. The gorgeous Sophie from Born to Buy sent me one of her lip balms to try and I chose the flavour "Killa Vanilla" (awesome name right?)
First of all, "Killa Vanilla" is definitely a 'killa vanilla' scent. It makes me enjoy using it even more! So if you're a vanilla lover , you'd love it. The packaging is cute too.
Now to the actual balm...
Oh. My. Goodness.
This has got to be one of the smoothest, creamiest lip balm I've ever used. It goes on so smoothly and the more you use it, the creamier it gets.
It is very moisturising. I always thought my baby lips was moisturising but this REALLY is moisturising. Definitely trumps those EOS lip balms in my opinion.
Also, one of the key reasons why I love this lip balm is the fact that...
it tastes the way it smells.
That may explain why I constantly have to reapply; because I'm licking it off all the time! It tastes that. good.
In addition to a fantastic product, when you order one of her lip balms, Sophie mails it to you in this adorable pouch with some samples in it which are a lovely touch! It's always nice to have good customer service on top of a great product.
Overall, I definitely recommend the Born to Balm lip balms if you're looking for a great quality lip balm.
They retail for $9 and are available for purchase here .
